Donation Opportunities
Owners of unused plots who would like to donate them to the cemetery would enable the association to make plots available to persons who wish to be buried in our cemetery. This would also provide an additional revenue stream for the cemetery, better ensuring the quality of maintenance and on-going service for which it has been know these many years.
We also encourage gifts to the endowment fund to honor loved ones. When you are doing your estate planning, a gift to the Swedish Cemetery, Inc. would be greatly appreciated and would go far in helping us to continue our mission of remembrance and perpetual care.
Benefits
In addition to providing a worthy gift, a donation of a plot or plots is also fully deductible as a charitable contribution. A letter indicating the gift, as a charitable contribution will be provided to each donor. The value of each plot will be determined by the current rate being charged for a plot in the cemetery. A Book of Remembrance will be established, and loved ones, family and donors will be honored in the book at the donor’s request.
